Birthday Bash Challenge

Hello dear bloggers!

Wow! How incredible to celebrate three years of Papertrey Ink fun! I have been so blessed to be a part of this super talented team and I am thrilled to shared new stamp designs with you in 2010.

A little bit about me...

-- I am a hybrid scrapbooker and stamper. I have also worked in the world of graphic design for several years so I am constantly fascinated by new trends in the industry. I love all things grunge and fancy, and if there's a way to combine the two styles then I am in craft Heaven! :)

-- I have a fabulous family whom I adore and tend to be the subject matter of my projects. My two year old son keeps me laughing and singing all day long. My husband melts my heart and still pulls me in to dance in the kitchen while we cook. My parents, in-laws, and siblings are a constant support and I am always grateful to God for the relationships I have with them. Whether putting together a scrapbook page or making cards or crafty projects, my family is a constant inspiration in my life.

SO.... I bet you want to see some fun and fresh Birthday designs?!

-- I must say that I am a huge critic when it comes to Birthday illustrations and I often find myself bored with the options out there. These were some fun things I threw together this afternoon and it definitely made me want to dive into a Birthday Stamp Set in the future with PTI.

OK, so I couldn't decide on just one design. Here are some fun cards I made using these designs.

This card was a lot of fun because I simply picked a pattern pattern paper I liked and printed the background writing on the paper. It's a nice change from white or a plain colored cardstock. HINT: This card gives a little preview for the feel of one of my future stamp sets!

This next card features a super fun stamp set from Close to My Heart that has all different stamps to build your own cake and candles. I love it! The sentiment I gave you is in two sizes. I always love sentiments bigger and bolder. The big option is fun, but you can also use the smaller one as pictured in my sample project with a 1.5 inch circle punch. This is also makes life easy if you want to make a bunch of cards at once.
