Thank You! Merci!

Thank You cards might actually be my favorite ones to make. GRATITUDE is a wonderfully humbling and transforming catalyst in our hearts. I love this card for the masculine red and brown paisley. Thowing in the teal made a fun balance.

Being thankful acknowledges someone elses grace or generosity toward you. It can heal relationships, and deepen them as well. When I think of the overwhelming way people have loved on me, I am so overcome with gratitude.

I AM SO BLESSED.

Here are some times when I needed the perfect thank you card.

>>When 600 people attended and blessed my wedding over six years ago.

>> When friends showered me with a nursery full of baby stuff for my son's arrival.

>>When friends made me dinner for two weeks when my baby was born. (Wow! That was amazing!)

>> When a friend stood up to my defense when I was under attack.

>> When a dear couple drove 2000 miles with my family to help us move to Colorado.

>> When a friend mowed our overgrown lawn on our moving day.

>> When someone welcomed me into their home when I was a stranger in a new city.

>>When someone gave a sacrificial financial gift to support me as I stepped out in faith to be obedient to God's call on my life.

>> When someone's dear words ministered to my heart and reminded me that I was loved and not alone.

>> I am incredibly grateful for the bunch of girls who come along side me in my small group on Thursdays. They bless me with their smiles, their insights, their worship, and their awesome recipes shared.

My ULTIMATE and UNENDING GRATITUDE...

"Enter His gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His Name." Psalm 100:4

"But then something happened! For it pleased God, in His kindness, to choose me and call me even before I was born! What undeserved mercy!" Galatians 1:15 NLT

This morning I woke up, and as I lay in bed, all I could do was silently pray, "Thank you, God. Thank you, God. Wow. Thank you." For about a half hour, in the beauty of the morning light, my heart sang praises to my amazing God. He has given me more than I could imagine or ask for. He has surprised me with his loved. He has undermined me with his grace. He has given me dreams, he has included me to be a part of His story in this world. Wow. I am so blessed. How could I ever make a thank you card for Jesus? But as much as God surely loves my fun papers, punches, stamps, and cuttlebug ( because I am sure He must!) what He loves all the more is intimacy with His precious children (that's you and me!) SO, my whole life is a thank you card. As I serve, as I obey, as I praise Him, as I seek Him first... I guess that is the card sent upward to the Heavens for His joy and for His glory.

WOW, I am so blessed. I am sure you can think of something that made you grateful. I would love to hear it! Is there something you are grateful for? Something big? Something little? Something fun or silly? Something that touched your heart? TELL ME!! What makes your heart want to say THANK YOU!?

  1. Tiffany -- wow, your post is just overflowing with heartfelt gratitude and happiness! I'm so glad you have had so many wonderful things to be thankful for. Today I am most thankful for my husband and my little daughter, whose sixth birthday we are celebrating with a party tomorrow. My little family is an incredible blessing in my life.

  4. It is such a joy to read about your love for God. As a fellow believer in Jesus Christ, you are my "sister", and I really appreciate your testimony! I'm so grateful that God chose me to be His child, even before the foundation of the world! That is so amazing.

  5. TIffany, you blessed my heart with this post! Yesterday my ten year old son and I were out riding bikes and had a perfectly lovely time! My heart was singing over God's blessings. I guess it's a bit sad that I need blessings to be happy over rather than simply trusting that, in the long run, they are ALL blessings, both the "good" and the "bad." {{{Hugs!}}}
