Greetings dear bloggers!!
Welcome to the Papertrey Ink Countdown for the August Release!! I have been looking forward to this release ALL YEAR!!! I have a new stamp set to bring to you and I hope you love it as much as I do! Here are the stats...
...........................................................................
>>Embellishments, releasing for purchase on August 15 on the Papertrey Ink website.
>> Cost: only $24
>> A coordinating die set will also be released, but more on that coming up in the countdown.
>>In the set you will find tons of distressed flourish basics that you will absolutely love! These images can be used for a modern trendy grunge look, or something soft, whimsical and girly! If any of you have wanted to give the shabby chic style a try, then this is the PERFECT stamp set for you! ALSO: I have some fabulous sentiments in one my favorite fonts that coordinates beautifully with the images in the stamp set.
This card is all the way PTI! I love having tons of cardstock, dies, ribbons, and tools with only one stamp set in hand. It opens so many creative doors to challenge yourself in this way.
DETAILS, DETAILS!
>> The Embellishments stamp set was used to create the seamless repeated image as a background on the base of the card. You will also see that I stamped some fun swirlies on the PTI Beautiful Blooms die to give it some dimension. The sentiment pieces are also from the Embellishments stamp set, too!
>>The PTI perfect match color combo you are seeing in this card includes: New Leaf and Spring Moss cardstock (with some random cream cardstock for the sentiments), and a fun PTI Hibiscus Burst ribbon. PTI ink used was Ripe Avocado.
>>Finishing touches include a fun impression from my CuttleBug with some ink rubbed on to highlight the design. I also colored in the leaves with a soft white colored pencil to help them have a little more punch, too. A sweet little pearl, hand cut leaves, and some mad coloring skills on the layered Beautiful Blooms flower brought things all together. :)
This card, with all its simplicity makes me so happy! I love the colors and the sentiment leave me dreaming happy thoughts!
