Introducing GRUNGE ME and My Hero, My Dad (Day 3)

Here we are again showcasing some fun projects featuring my two new stamp releases! :) Both sets will release on April 15 at the Papertrey Ink website. >> GRUNGE ME: retails at only $15

>> My Hero, My Dad: retails at $24 This card just felt so fun and summery to me! I loved utilizing the PTI impression plate for an awesome coordinating look. The PTI color combo is Summer Sunrise, Harvest Yellow, Simply Chartreuse, Hawaiin Shores, and Raspberry Fizz. I was trying to go all masculine on this card, but just couldn't resist the tiny strip of Raspberry Fizz. ( I am sure a confident man wouldn't care too much! :)
I LOVE the way this card came out. This whole stamp set was inspired by my dad. He has been a true hero in my life. He's always there when I need help, advice, or encouragement. And since I was a little girl, I have always said: "I have a great dad!" It was sort of a slogan for me, or just another way to say "I love you".
The corugated cardboard adds so much life to this card, and the metal clip is a nice touch, too. You will notice I stamped up the orange and the blue cardstocks with images from "My Hero, My Dad". Distressed circles are a go-to that I keep pulling out from the "Grunge Me" set. PTI colors featured are Enchanted Evening, Orange Zest, Ripe Avocado, and Spring Moss.
Below, the inside of the card has some orange zest stamping and then some of my favorite sentiments. My dad is truly a man of great integrity. These sentiments cherish that quality which is better learned by example than taught with empty words.
Anyone ready for a PRIZE?!?!?! I think it's about time, don't you? Leave a comment on the blog and tell me which stamp set you would like to use the most and why... A randomly selected blogger will WIN either GRUNGE ME or My Hero, My Dad... It will be YOUR CHOICE! So leave a note and cross your fingers... this could be your chance to win!!

>> The Winner will be posted on April 16. So stop by to see if you won!

All Smiles, Tiffany

  3. I actually love *both* of these sets and will own both :-). I am so very excited to see this style and knew exactly how I would incorporate them into my paper crafting (on the day of the sneak peek). So, even though I actually love the "Dad" set *more* because my Dad has been amazing (especially these last 6 months since losing my mom) and my Husband is phenomenal always... I'm picking the Grunge Me set for now. I can use it immediately for bdays and thank yous. I'll set get the Dad set before Dad's day if I don't win here :-). Thanks so much for the opportunity and so glad you are a PTI designer!

  10. Grunge set for me. I never thought I would like a set like this, but just seeing all the cute ideas from the DT has me converted. This is perfect for a house of boys, but I can also step outside of the box and create a girly card.

  24. I absolutely love both sets. My husband is a great dad, so My Hero, My Dad could be fabulous for scrapbooking, cards and crafts. Now, I totally see my fifteen-year-old daughter using the Grunge set in all the cards for her friends. Your work rocks!!!

  25. GREAT new sets!!! LOVE them both!!! I need the grunge set...I would use it with every card I make! I love that corugated cardboard background...a must have. You really rocked it girl! Awesome job!

  26. I really like the Grunge set. When I first heard there was a grunge set, I thought to myself, there's a set I would never buy. Then I saw it and saw all the incredible graphic possibilities. I said to myself--you need to get that set ASAP. I really like how the images can be combined in different ways with different colors to create a mood on the card.

  27. I really like Grunge Me and can see it'd be one I reach for often because it's so versatile. It packs a lot of punch for the price and, as I make cards for a few teenagers, it definitely gets my vote!

    ReplyDelete
  28. That's a really difficult choice, but if pressed, I think I'd choose Grunge Me. Only because I think it will be a bit more versatile.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  39. Even though I would have said grunge is not my style, I really like Grunge Me. I like the distressed circles in it and the tall lines with circles. I also like the frame that happens to coordinate with Modern Basics--I think that is from Grunge Me, right? I just think it looks like a very versatile set.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I love them both and will buy the one I don't win. ;) I am smitten with My Hero, so because you are making me choose, I pick that one. Awesome work!

    ReplyDelete
  43. I love both sets but I would use the Dad, Hero set more, I think, but I'm thinking of ways to use the Grunge set too. I am having trouble choosing!

    ReplyDelete
  44. Oh!!! It's so hard to choose they are both great but for me it has to be Grunge me.
I see this set with lots of versatility for both male and female cards .
    Love all your samples x

  45. While I love the versatility you've designed into "Grunge Me", "My Hero, My Dad" would be my choice. My Dad is the first man i ever loved and the one no man has been able to live up to. He's so important to me and is even more so now that I'm in my mid-30's. I can't wait to make cards and layouts with this set! And, thanks for the chance to win.
    Lord bless,

  46. I love both too like the others, but Grunge Me would be the most used in my stash. It's so versatile, but seeing as how I have 2 boys and a husband, this would be very welcome in making some more masculine/boy cards.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I love both, but Grunge Me is definitely my favorite of the two. All of the different elements look like so much fun to play with, and the style is just right for my teen and pre-teen girls and their friends.

    ReplyDelete
  65. The cards today are amazing. Love the colors! I was really thinking that I would have a month off from PTI since I really don't have much occasion to make "boy" cards, but I love the background versatility of the grunge set so much, I am thinking I have to have it!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Tiffany these sets are both awesome! And I love the bright and fun colors on that first card. OK, tough choice... but since I, too, have a great dad :) and also an awesome husband, and Father's Day is coming up and all... I think I would have to go for My Dad, My Hero! Thanks for the fun chance to win! :)

  67. Great job on the design on BOTH sets. How can I choose ...... I will own both but I would say I would first pick My Hero My Dad for the same reasons you designed the set in the first place.

    ReplyDelete
  69. I have teenagers - both a son and daughters - Grunge Me is a perfect set for all of them. Love it!!

    ReplyDelete

  73. I would pick Grunge Me because of the graphic elements. Love them!

    ReplyDelete
  74. I love your card samples using these sets! They are so great together. If I had to choose one I would probably get the grunge first and then the hero dad one 2nd. ReplyDelete
  79. Love both sets and your samples... It's painful to choose, but I'd go with your Hero set. That corrugated box stamp is just so innovative.

    Thanks for sharing!

    ReplyDelete
  81. With (2) 11 year olds, Grunge Me is just what I need. Thanks for showing the versatile uses of these sets.

    ReplyDelete
  82. I LOVE the Grunge Stamp Set. I have a complete mental block when doing male cards & hate making them because of that. As soon as I saw this set, I realized that it could actually be fun - with the right tools. This is my one "absolutely gotta have it" set this month. Can't wait to have it.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Tiffany, I love the new Grunge Me set! Those paint splatters are so cool. I can see creating a variety of cards with this set. Can't wait to add it to my stash!

    ReplyDelete
  84. Tiffany, both sets are just so great and fun! It's hard to choose between them...I'm thinking...still thinking...I guess I'd like Grunge Me. Oh that's hard to say, but yes Grunge Me is the set I'd choose to win!!!

    ReplyDelete
  85. I love them both as there are so few "guy" sets out there. If I have to choose it would be the Grunge Me set since I would use it immediately and more often with an 8 yr old boy.

    Thanks for the chance :)

  86. I love the My Dad, My Hero set. Thanks for the opportunity to win.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  96. Ooh, they are both great sets!

My Hero, My Dad wouldn't get used much around here. My father and grandfathers have been gone many years now. All the kids are old enough to do their own Father's Day cards so I don't make any for the DH. However, Grunge Me is going to be great for my teenage grandchildren and all the little grandnieces and grandnephews!

    Thanks for the opportunity!

    ReplyDelete
  97. I think grunge me...I have 5 grandsons it work wonderful for, and I am always at a lost to figure our "boyish" cards for them!

    ReplyDelete
  98. I would so love to win the Grunge Me. I have a teenage son who is in band and this stamp set would be put to good use. PTI needed more stamp sets for the "GuYs"

    ReplyDelete
  99. Love how it's sooo fun to take all the Grunge Me elements and mix them up with different colors for those hard-to-design masculine cards! Definitely a must-have set!!!

    ReplyDelete
  100. I love the Grunge Me stamps. I always stamp something in the background of every thing I stamp and the Grunge Me has so many different looks. I will surely use it a lot! Thank you!

  101. Great cards, love your use of the elements and color! Wonderful cards for Dad.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Thanks Tiffany...what a great prize! It would be hard to pick since they are both great sets, but I think the Grunge would help fill a gap in my stamping supplies. These would work great for cards for male coworkers as well as the females. Loved all the samples I've seen this week and can't wait for the release.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Both sets are great, but I think I would get more use out of My Hero, My Dad - the image stamps I have seen so far seem very versatile, and it would be nice to have more sentiments to use for father's day and birthday cards. Thank you for the chance to win!

    ReplyDelete
  104. Hello Tiffany! I love both of these sets! They remind me of your Embellishments set, which has more of a feminine feel. I use that alot on my cards, and am looking forward to using these also. The sentiments in the My Hero, My Dad set bring tears to my eyes. My dad was like that.He passed away 3 years ago suddenly, and I miss him alot. Thanks so much for your wonderful designs!

    ReplyDelete
  105. Great Job Tiff!! So proud of you! And I love the sets!

    ReplyDelete
  106. Well, it's so difficult because they both are going to be in my arsenal one way or another.(:-)hehe)So getting one for free would be wonderful!!! I have been waiting and waiting for something like My Hero, My Father. What a wonderful set. But the versatility of Grunge Me set wins out. I can not wait to get that set. I'm already imagining what I can do with it. I'm anxiously awaiting the announcement on April 16th. Thank you for the opportunity!

    ReplyDelete
  110. There is no doubt that I would love to have both of these sets, but I would choose My Hero, My Dad. I didn't know my Dad, but my son has a wonderful father and I would like to honor him with a card from this set.

Thank you for the opportunity to win it Tiffany. You have done a fantastic job with both of these sets.

    ReplyDelete
  111. I would be buying both anyways. But if you insisted on picking only one...it would have to be Grunge Me (coz I have a brand new teen boy in the house and by the looks of it this set would be perfect for him). Thanks for the chance to win.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Im gonna need both of these sets! But the one Im most itching to get my hands on is the Grunge Me. So different than anything I have in my stamping supplies! I can see it used for both male and female.

Thanks for the chance to win!

    ReplyDelete
  115. My Hero, My Dad is an awesome set! Love, love, love the sentiments included in this set. My husband is a retired disabled vet and I would love to even use these sentiments for cards for him from me. Of course this set is also awesome for cards from our kids to him, along with cards to my own dad too. Great set Tiffany! Thanks for the chance to win!

    ReplyDelete
  116. Tiffany, both your sets are fantastic!! WOW, I love all your samples and the versatility of all the stamps in each set. It will be so hard to choose just one. Thanks so much for the chance to win!

    ReplyDelete
  117. Both of these sets can be used so many times and ways, but I suppose I would choose Grunge Me as I can see using it for all sorts of projects. Thanks for the chance to win.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Both sets are wonderful but I would definitely get more use from grunge just because I do a lot of birthday cards for young men in my family and sadly i have no use for dad cards since my dad passed a few years ago.

    ReplyDelete
  119. I'm finding myself being drawn to the Grunge Me set. I like the versatility of the elements and how they can be used with other available sets.

I think I would choose Grunge Me. I like how it can be used for boys and girls.

    ReplyDelete
  121. I must say I love both of these stamp sets! The projects that you and Nicole made are awesome! But if I had to pick just one ( it's so hard!) it would have to be My Hero, My Dad. It's really hard to find stamps to use for men and this one is perfect! Thanks :)

    ReplyDelete

  129. I love the grunge set!!!!!! both are great. but I love the texture that the grunge set gives. and I have two boys that are moving into that tweenage phase.
Great job on those stamp sets. I'm sure your daddy is proud of you!

  130. You have totally knocked it out of the park with both of these sets! They work together beautifully, but if I had to pick just one, it would be Grunge Me. The possibilities are endless, and I can't wait to add it to my collection! Nicely done!

  131. I'm guessing My Hero, My dad. I have avoided dad sets for the past few years since my dad passed away, but there are going to always be men in my life somehow that need a word of appreciation, my husband (my daughter's dad) or my older kids' husbands . . . and this set has great appeal. The sentiments I've seen are just spot on.

  132. Both sets are fabulous!. Grunge Me is already on my list, so if I were to win I would choose MY Hero, My Dad. The sentiments look great and I would have that wonderful corrugated stamp everyone is crazy over. Fantastic designs!!

  133. I'd love to have both, but I'm going to say My Hero, My Dad, cause I need to make some Father's day cards!!

  134. These sets are wonderful! I especially love the images I have seen from Grunge Me, and the font in My Hero, My Dad are awesome. I have two little boys so all of a sudden I find myself looking for more boy sets. Normally I'm a real girly girl, but I love my little ones and want to create keepsakes for them too.
