Spa Party!

Recently I had the honor of hosting a bachelorette bash for my good friend, and we had such a blast! The wedding is a destination event in Key West, FL. So we coupled the destination with the need for pampering... ta-da!! Spa Party! Above you see the entrance of my home with a little welcome frame featuring the Spa Treatments Menu.

The hostesses and I dressed up as the spa specialists and provided some fun activities. Satin Hands/ Hand Massage, Manicures, Salt soak/ Foot Bath with feet and leg messages, Vital C facials with relaxing massage, tasty treats, and crafty fashion accessory projects.

Decorating for this party was so much fun! My mother-in-law spent a weekend with me as we shopped, planned and prepared.  One of my favorite experiences was making tissue pom poms in several sizes. The short end of this project... you need 10 sheets of tissue, and the 2/3 dimension, some wire, then just a little folding and fluffing action. The outcome was pretty rewarding!

I made "half-puffs" by using only 5 sheets of tissue and used them on the tables and serving areas with food.
My centerpiece for the dining table was a fanciful tray of manicure goodies! I loved how this came out!

The treats were awesome! The ladies enjoyed this AMAZING key lime cookies, key lime cake truffles (below), fruit, white chocolate chip cookies, and pink lemonade.
The craft station gave ladies a chance to create fashionable pins or hair clips out of feathers and vintage buttons.  Below you also see the name tags I made for the hostesses and the green rose pins I made so we could all match.

A little basic graphic stuff adds a custom touch the party. From door signs to the Spa Services Menu, to the name tags... all a nice cohesive look to pull the them together.
Below you can see the table and pom poms.

Ahhh, raspberries and cake truffles... I was eating them ALL weekend!!

Another project I loved working on was my Spa Fun banner! I made a template and printed, cut, glued, and accessorized, and it all came together quite quickly!  Notice the use of my "Frilly Flowers" dies as accents!
I was in charge of the footsies! Below you see my pedi-station where I had ladies sit, relax, soak their feet, and enjoy a nice foot and calve massage. It was an honor to give the ladies a special night of pampering. We had a great time and showered the bride with "personal" goodies to get her ready for the honeymoon. Congrats, Meredith and Gray! I love you both!!!

Time to sign up, hope you are inspired with a few bright colors and a flash of fun girl time!

With Smiles,
 Tiffany
