Yeah for Babies!

Hello Dear Ones,

I hope you are having a FABULOUS Monday! I love Mondays! Usually the weekend is packed with things to do and I usually do catch up stuff around the house on Mondays.

Today I wanted to share some BABY cards. The first (above) is actually a fun joke we are playing on some friends. A bunch of our friends are sending "Mommy-to-Be" cards to a newly wed couple for Mother's Day. Everyone is sending silly congratulatory cards, and I couldn't resist joining the prank and sending a custom creation for unsuspecting couple. :) So, this week Amanda and Kevin will randomly start getting cards from all their friends. LOL! I wish I could see their faces when they start to figure out how many of us are in on it. Now the truly funny thing would be if they ACTUALLY were pregnant!

Above is a card celebrating the arrival of my friend's first little baby boy. This paper (sorry for the yucky lighting!) was too cute to pass up. It is a light blue with copper metallic ink that looks like hand drawn cars, trucks, and trains. Very fun, and it keeps things simple. Of course my SLICE helped me cut out the letters in the brown pattern paper. And my cuttlebug helped make it look like the trucks were driving on the road. (Of course, it's only a coincidence that the road looks snowy, and once again, in Colorado we have 2ish inches of snow on the ground right now!) This card was simple, but I like the boyish feel to it.

It seems there are babies everywhere I look and it makes me wish for another! Though, I am sure God will bless us in HIS time! For now, I will relish in the sweet hugs and songs of my little man. Below is a picture from our recent sledding adventure this past week. Enjoy!
